Via Ferrata
Torrent Falls has the first Via Ferrata in the United States!
Description: We also call the Via Ferrata the Climbing Adventure. You will see both terms used interchangeabley throughout our website. This is a cable system with iron hand and foot rungs to aid your climbing experience.
Who is this activity for? This activity is great for beginner and intermediate climbers. The course has different levels of difficulty ranging from easy to expert. We cater all activities to the level of our clients, but this is the easiest activity we offer.
Ages: Must be 10 years of age or older to participate.
Reservations: Reservations are required on group of 10 or more participants. If you have fewer than 10 participants, calling to put your name and number on a list is required but a deposit is not taken. Walk-ins are always welcome, but this solely depends on equipment & staffing availability.

Description: This activity offers the chance to experience rock climbing from an AMGA certified guide. Guided Climbing differs from the Via Ferrata in the fact that Guided Climbing has no cables or iron hand and foot rungs. You will be climbing only on rock and there will be a rope for your protection.
Who is this activity for? This activity is great for all levels of experience. Our guides are good at meeting you at your level and challenging you from there. This activity is generally for those that want to learn more about the sport of rock climbing. We recommend multiple visits/classes with the goal of getting you to climbing safely on your own.
Ages: There is no age restriction for this activity but we recommend to be 6 years of age or older.

Description: This activity allows one to start at the top of the cliffline and descend down a rope. We have a 30 ft rappel and four 90 ft rappels.

Description: This activity give you a taste of both climbing and rappelling. This package includes a day pass on the Via Ferrata and two rappels per person off of a 90 ft. rappel.

Description: This activity allows Boy Scouts of America the chance to earn their Climbing Merit Badge. This is an all day class that starts with basic safely and knot tying and ends with rock climbing and rappelling. Boy Scouts will also have a chance to climb the Via Ferrata after the Climbing Merit Badge class is completed.
Who is this activity for? This activity is for the Boy Scouts of America who are looking to earn their Climbing Merit Badge. A Troop must have at least 6 participants and no more than 12.

Description: Torrent Falls has three small primitive campsites on site. Anyone can stay, however these are maninly reserved for Boy Scouts who would like the the conveince of staying at the same facility as their activites.
